Our Reconnect children are aiming to achieve their very own JAS award. We want to say a huge thank you to the parents who attended our showcase and who continue to support our learners in their achievements towards their JAS award.
Primary 2/3, 3/4 and 4 had a brilliant day at the Museum of Rural Life. We saw lots of farm animals including lovely baby calves, piglets, horses and highland cows. Both schools had a brilliant assembly this week celebrating Robert Burns and all things Scotland. We had a whole school quiz on Scots language, we sang Scottish songs with enthusiasm and enjoyed the poetry recitals from our amazing finalists. Huge well done to our winners!

Our aim is to encourage EVERYONE to read for pleasure so every class took part in our annual book corner decoration competition. We had a great week this week celebrating all things books and reading. Each class took part in an outdoor scavenger hunt looking for well know book characters and authors. First level classes and Primary 5 and 6 had a brilliant morning at the Into Film Festival. The children loved the experience watching Lilo and Stitch with their friends and was a great end to our week!
